Safety

In danger right now? Call local emergency services — 999 in the UK, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU — and tell venue staff. So Social is not an emergency service and does not monitor Socials in real time.

How So Social is built

Socials are small groups in public places, partner venues and public events. People only appear to each other after checking in at the same place.

Block

Tap ••• next to anyone in People Here. They are not told, and you stop seeing each other.

Report

You can report a person, a Social, an event, a place, an SO Original or a memory. A person on the So Social team reviews every report.

Hosts

If you host a Social you can remove someone before it starts, close it to new people, or cancel it.
