Support

In danger right now? Call local emergency services — 999 in the UK, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU. So Social is not an emergency service and does not monitor meetups in real time.

Contact

Email support@sosocialnetwork.com for support and privacy requests. If you have an account, you can also message the team from Help in the app and see replies there.

So Social is operated by Elliott Dynasty LLC, Global Danielle, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

Logging in

Sign in with the email and password you signed up with, or with Google on the website. Forgot your password? Tap "Forgot password" on the log-in screen and we'll email you a reset link. Didn't get the confirmation email? Check spam, then tap "Resend confirmation email" on the check-your-email screen.

Bookings and refunds

Cancellations and refunds for paid bookings follow our cancellation policy. Open the booking in the app to cancel it.

Apple subscriptions

If you joined a membership through the iPhone app, Apple bills it. Cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your So Social account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel it there first.

Deleting your account

In the app go to Me → Settings → Delete account. Your name, photo, area and memories are removed straight away and you can't sign in again. Some booking, payment and safety records are kept — see the Privacy notice.

Privacy controls

Me → Settings → Privacy controls who sees you in People Here, Met IRL and who sees new memories. You can block people there too. Location is optional and only ever approximate.

Safety and reporting

Use ••• to block or report a person, a plan, an event, a place or a memory. A person on the So Social team reviews every report. More in the Safety guide and the Safety Center in the app.

Adults only

So Social accounts are for people 18 and over. Family plans are run by an adult parent or guardian. Children don't have accounts, messaging or profiles — for children we store only the age bands you choose, never their names, photos or schools.
